Last night an Am Fah Marksman dropped a sapphire for my Paragon in Wajjun Bazaar. Several months ago, a Crimson Skull Raider dropped a ruby for my Necromancer. Both gems dropped in normal mode.

Pretty sure the only ones I ever got were from Mindblades in UW.

Yea, I've gotten a few. One was from the Droughtling in that Mission, i foget the name.

Yeah i have gotten a few gem drops, mostly in places i hardly farm or in hard places with alot of mobs. All in NM however.
Amber, Ruby and Saphire.

But this one i got on Shing Jea Island on my way down to the Harbour in Normal Mode... A huge suprise indeed! Nice drop.jpg

remember getting one in the FOW back in the day. and the tombs levels. have to dig up the SS. never came across any just farming or questing like the people above.

Saphire off an elemental outside Sardelaac and I got a Ruby once from a devourer outside of druids overlook.

I got a gem from a Jade Brotherhood or Am Fah. Some mob in Kaineng. Also got one from somewhere in RoT and saw them drop in UW.

In a team:
Team member got sapphire from Am Fah during one of the Mox quests.
Team member got sapphire from Tombs (can't remember monster)

I got some from mobs in UW and FoW.

Also I got one ruby from Kirin next to Matu Keep and one Saphire form Hulking Stone Elemental next to Sardelac Sanitarium in Post Seraing Ascalon.

1 x Sapphire from Bladed Aatxe
2 x Sapphires from Smite Crawlers
1 x Ruby from Smite Crawler
1 x Diamond from some djin in NF, cant remember exactly where though.

EDIT: Found the screeny, diamond was in fact from a Do Not Touch (Forum Highlands) and not the Djinn itself, sorry.
So also no confirmed diamond drop here either.

I've gotten sapphires, rubies and diamonds if i remember correctly back when they are of no use what so ever, all in prophecies. don't ask me from what thou, can't remember but definitely got them before on my low level characters.

When Prophecies first came out, Ruby dropped from some kind of stone elemental while doing one of the Pikin Square quests.

Yes, several times I've gotten a gem as a drop from a random foe. Also, yesterday I got a sapphire from a Hidden Treasure (from Light of Deldrimore) - second time that's happened.

Got a fair dozen of rubies and sapphires from mobs. Mostly in UW or FoW, but i do recall getting a ruby in pongmei valley and a sapphire when i was farming scar eater (probably both from kirins). I've gotten them in other places as well, like sorrow's furnace, but i can't tell for certain.
Don't recall having diamond dropped by a mob EVER though
